Why not to commit suicide? A great message from Chetan Bhagat

As the Mumbai terror attack seems to have finally ended and all terrorists seem to have been shot dead except one who is caught alive and in police custody, every eye would be on Indian Government on how to investigate the situation. People like us who were not affected will forget about this incident in few days just after its not shown on television, but people who have lost their loved once will never be able too. And that’s just life. We don’t understand others pain until we are in the situation of losing someone no matter how hard we try.

This post is also about a article I came across of Chetan Bhagat about suicide and his story. You can read it at http://witchofoz.rediffiland.com/blogs/2006/01/04/My-Stupid-Suicide-Plan-Chetan.html.

I will write more soon…

5 Police Officers Dead in Mumbai attack

Mr. Hemant Karkare, the chief of ATS (Anti Terror Squad) along 4 others are dead.

More information would be posted soon as and when its avaliable.

P.S.: These were also the same people who were arresting and investigating the Hindu people involved in malegoan blasts.

Shootings, blasts rock Mumbai.

There have been a series of attacks in Mumbai late Wednesday, with police reporting firing incidents and explosions at different sites across Mumbai.

So far the number of casualties have not been confirmed but have said to be above 16. People with lots of ammunition are also currently present inside the Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai.

26th November 2008, Mumbai , India ’s financial capital witnessed 10 simultaneous terrorist attacks. As the news reports are coming in, there are about a hundred dead including some foreign nationals. All except one of the attacks took place in South Mumbai, at the crowded Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) railway station; two five-star hotels: the Oberoi Trident at Nariman Point, and Taj Mahal Palace & Tower near the Gateway of India; the Leopold Café, a popular tourist restaurant in Colaba; the Cama Hospital; at least three high-level officers, including chief of the Anti Terrorism Squad of Maharashtra, were killed by gunfire. A previously unknown organisation identifying itself as the Deccan Mujahideen claimed responsibility by email sent to news organizations. Some media reports have attributed these terrorist attacks to Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Pakistan-based Islamic militant group. This is an attempt by Pinstormers to help mumbaikars get all the information that they require at one place. We call it, “help mumbai”.
